How we work

How your company
gets built.

We uncover what’s holding your company back, build the capabilities it’s missing, and lead the work alongside your team.

Schedule Consult Every engagement starts here

First, see the company clearly.

The Uncomfortable
Truth.

We bring your business data together and analyze what it shows. Then we interview you and your leadership team to understand what’s happening in the day-to-day—and where the numbers and lived experience agree or diverge.

The result is The Uncomfortable Truth: what’s working, what’s holding you back, why it’s happening, and what needs to change first.

This becomes the basis for what we build—and the order we build it in.

Before we begin

A few practical questions.

What information do you need to get started?

We begin with the business information you already have: financials, sales and marketing performance, client delivery, and how the team is organized. We agree on the relevant sources and access with you, then combine that information with founder and leadership interviews.

What if our data is incomplete or scattered?

That becomes part of the diagnosis. We establish what is reliable, identify what is missing, and compare the numbers with the team’s experience. Where better visibility is needed, we make it part of the priorities instead of treating an incomplete picture as fact.

How much time will you need from me and my leadership team?

At the start, we need your perspective, leadership interviews, and help accessing the relevant data. During implementation, we agree on a working rhythm for decisions and progress. Your leaders also need capacity to carry out changes between sessions; we clarify those responsibilities before the work begins.

How do you work with our existing team and agencies?

We work alongside them. Your specialists continue owning their functions. Piper Ops addresses the constraints within and between those functions, clarifies ownership, and helps your leaders turn improvements in individual departments into progress for the whole company.

How do we know the changes are working?

We agree on the starting point, intended outcomes, and evidence of progress. That may include leaders making decisions without routine escalation, projects reaching completion, or clearer cash and margin visibility. We review both the results and how the team is working to see whether improvements are taking hold.
